yeah I thought it would look cleaner to hide my roll in a spoiler. Glad we're having fun.

So I'm good with whatever. as it pertains to the landing on the planet.
I did have a question. I am still confused about the perks/complications. I got that you wanted it to switch out the processors(medical and what not) but how would you like me to do other quirks. The ones I added to the droid shop were part of perks that you said I would have to buy with cp. did you want me to "invent" a temporary medical routine that I found that would like burn out quickly, or something else? I could roll Wit to create "minor Perk and any failure on a wild die would break it. something like that? just trying to clarify.

any perks you buy by switching out your Invention points can have complications if it seems fun.
Upgrading your skills with CP is normal and doesn't need complications.
New, permanent perks (I.e. not part of your modular invention perk) are purchased at 10x price after creation (for example to permanently upgrade to Natural Born Healer would not require a complication and cost 10CP)
Basically invention works like this. During a non-combat scene, you can swap out inventions so long as they still total up to your max number of points in invention. You flavor it any way you want. It could be spare parts you swap out, it could be complete overhauls, whatever. Remember, it's the Tony Stark superpower, the Power To Have Many Inventions... but he can only wear one suit at a time.
Right now your "Inventions" that you have active and in play are Spacetech Droid, Stabilogyro, and Storage Compartment.

ok so say that during this flight through space I could have invented the hover conversion booster which would be (1) it would be on the ship when say I got back to fly some where else(a scene) and while flying to wherever I could swap it out with the stabilogyro so it would be ready for the next scene. If I'm understanding it is one scene to invent. and one scene to swap. Am I close?
also at the start of every "scene" you will let us know with the intro like you did for flying the ship?

that was a new session. A new scene is basically when you go from one place to another, or you go to sleep or something, like a scene in a movie. A combat scene would be when you're initiative order (like you couldn't change inventions while the Teratode bounty hunter was holding Gunda hostage).
So you'd have to just say how you swapped things out or something, and you can only use up to (4) points of invention at a time, so yeah you could do that. The other ones just won't be online or useable.
So let's say you land on Kaishee and after a day of traveling you decide to invent something. If you're in a safe spot, the "non-combat scene" is enough time for you to tear apart one thing and build another.
The long and short of it is, if it seems like you have enough time to build it or tear it apart, and you aren't in combat, you can probably do it, especially if it sounds cool.

OK, so movie scene-ish time period. was messing up with the whole not having to sleep thing. no resting for spells or anything so then probably next flight time I will get some of the perks situated should be fun.

No it was certificates. Kind of like diplomas. They were silly awards for some party way back when another one I remember was the Esau award for the hairiest brother

Yeah I did not know that I have input it to my knowledge by reading the vehicle section my apologies.
However my pilot skill is 3d+1 the actual roll was 1,1,4
as I rolled the forgotten 1d it was 6, so that brings me to a whopping total of 13
Guess you shouldn't hard shut off the pilot when coming in for a landing The dice don't lie HAHAHA
seriously though, I see two options. I go with the last roll being wild. the six would have been the last roll making me switch to the wild die rule and rolling again and adding, or you keep the 13. I'm good either way.
let me know what you want me to do.
