ADVANCED SENTIENT ANDROID KINETIC [AS/AK-74] Quote Never send a meat wad to do a droids job Appearance

Background Sentient Astro tech droid. Through unknown years of operation multiple upgrades and part swaps AS/AK-74 has moved ship to ship. He does not respond as droids should. It might be all the mismatched lines of code that effect his processor. Many years ago a ship captain, after a large ship wide battle, quipped that AK should take better care of himself. AK took it as a command. He has salvaged and added parts over the years always able to retain protection and command over the "self" file.
Attributes Might:2D Brawling 2D+1 Melee 2D+1
Agility: 3D Dodge 4D Pilot 3D+1 Climb 3D+1
Wit: 5D Trades 6D+1 Navigation 5D+1 Charm: 2D
Perks Extra limb (1): You have an extra functional limb. It allows one additional non-combat Action per round without additional Action Penalty. Each limb adds +1 pip to Skill rolls where such an appendage may be useful (Climbing, Swimming, Melee, Brawl, Jump, Run, Bingo, Play Glockenspiel).
Invention (4): You can create things that give you multiple powers/perks, up to the total of points you have in Invention. Re-configuring, overhauling, etc your invention takes one non=combat scene of research and design, and construction, but the new one can't exceed number of ranks you have in Invention. Multiple inventions may coexist, but the total cost may not exceed the total points you have in invention. Or, having multiple inventions can be hand-waved by taking the extra scene to "switch" them, if your character has already made the other invention before.
- Spacetech Droid (Invention) You have a plastic pal who's fun to be with. Droids may only have 3D in one Attribute, and 1D in the other three. They have 1D to spend on a Skill Specialization. Most have the Small complication. Droids are built for help with one specific task, such as cleaning your clothes or carrying your things. Usually communicate through beeps or whirs, unless Wit is 3D or is specified by player. Droids do not earn CP, but may be upgraded one pip at a time with your own CP at GM discretion.
- Storage Compartment (Invention) you are always thinking one step ahead, planning for contingencies others don't even consider. OPS you can pull 'just the thing' needed for a given situation out
- Stabilogyro (Invention) you have hands like a statue. You never take penalties from manual tasks while running or in a moving vehicle, mount etc. OPS you can double any roll where having Steady Hands would be an asset (neurosurgery, picking pockets, shooting from horseback, building a ship-in-a-bottle).

Hm... with the detachable legs and the extra arm you might want to do some Character-Fu to get these perks here (originally mutant powers, but I adapted them for a robot):
To do it, we'd have to trade down an Attribute die (probably Wit from 5 to 4) for 5 skill dice. I can do it, with your permission, so you never even noticed it was there.

Understand all, just one misconception. The legs don't detach they are the emergency back up. I know it is hard to seethe small picture. The full picture shows the legs stowed for normal operation. the part that looks detachable is just so I didn't have to redraw the whole picture.it is just showing his normal base with legs extended.
Thanks for the reminder on the mutant rules forgot about them. Will work to gen up the char sheet.

If that's the case, I think you could easily either sink those extra skill dice into Invention, as skills are easier to learn later than perks are to buy (perks cost 10x as much after creation). As far as hovering vs. having legs, I'd say that's a cosmetic issue, and as such one that I wouldn't worry about any more than I might worry about whether a character wears pants or not in a certain scene. If you only change between hover and walk between scenes or sessions, I'll let you do it for free.

So instead of anatomical separation I will go with storage compartment = "I've got just the thing(1)" and forearm stabilogyro = steady hands(1).
that should finish it off can't wait to start.

OK so my bad but somehow or another I think I dropped several thousand of your skill dice. The +1's you have right now are all from Extra Limb.
That being said, you had 1D in dodge, and 5D in perks. That gives you 1D leftover for your standard 7 skill dice (no need anymore to trade down an attribute) so I'm putting 1 back into Trades for you and upping Wit overall.
